A national voice for private tenants

Renting privately is different to home ownership and social housing, it should not be worse!

Our Aims: NPTO campaigns for professionally managed, secure, decent and affordable private rented homes in sustainable communities. Join us today and help campaign for a better deal for private tenants.

We welcome applications to join NPTO from private tenant groups, individual private tenants who do not have a group in their area and supporters.

Our objectives are:

  • To call for changes in legislation, strategies, policies and practices towards achieving the aim of the Organisation;
  • To strengthen the voice of private tenants by encouraging membership of the Organisation by private tenants and private tenants’ groups;
  • To encourage private tenants to set up local groups in their own areas;
  • To work with affiliates towards achieving the aims of the Organisation
NPTO is a member of the
National Council for Voluntary Organisations (MEMBERVC/14612)
